💔 WEALTHY INFLUENCER IGHO ‘TINY’ UBIRIBO DIES AFTER COSMETIC PROCEDURE DURING THAILAND VACATION

A British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer has died after undergoing a cosmetic enlargement procedure during a luxury vacation in Thailand with his wife, with a U.K. coroner later concluding that the treatment caused a fatal pulmonary embolism.

Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, 43, who was also known online as Denisi or Ego, had traveled to Thailand with his wife, fashion designer and socialite Danielle Simba Allen.

In March, Igho underwent the cosmetic procedure at a Thai clinic. According to reports presented during the investigation, approximately 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected during the treatment.

What happened afterward quickly became a medical emergency.

Igho and Danielle reportedly went for a mᴀssage following the procedure. During the appointment, he began complaining of chest pain and collapsed twice. 😢

He was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was initially conscious and able to respond to questions.

Danielle reportedly informed doctors that he had recently received filler injections. A CT scan was ordered as physicians investigated the cause of his symptoms, but Igho lost consciousness before the imaging could be completed.

Doctors determined that he had suffered a pulmonary embolism, a potentially life-threatening condition in which material traveling through the bloodstream blocks an artery in the lungs and can severely disrupt blood flow.

Medical staff began emergency treatment, including CPR, which reportedly continued for more than 100 minutes.

Despite their efforts, Igho died in the early hours of March 6. 💔🕊️

The investigation continued after his death.

A postmortem examination conducted in the United Kingdom later found material in Igho’s lungs that was consistent with the hyaluronic acid used during the cosmetic procedure.

Coroner Jean Harkin ultimately ruled that the cosmetic injections had caused the pulmonary embolism that led to Igho’s death.

The tragedy shocked those who knew Igho both personally and through social media.

He had built a significant online following, with approximately 185,000 followers on Instagram, where he was known for sharing glimpses of an extravagant lifestyle. Reports said he owned properties in both Los Angeles and London and had developed a public image centered around luxury, travel, and success.

His relationship with Danielle was also frequently visible online.

The couple married in an elaborate ceremony in Zimbabwe in 2022, and pH๏τographs and videos shared on Danielle’s Instagram showed them enjoying luxury vacations, celebrations, and social events together over the years.

Now, those memories have taken on an entirely different meaning for Danielle and their loved ones.

Igho’s death has also drawn attention to the potential dangers ᴀssociated with cosmetic procedures, particularly when complications develop unexpectedly. Even procedures intended to be aesthetic can carry serious medical risks, and complications involving the bloodstream can become life-threatening extremely quickly.

For Igho’s family and wife, however, the medical details are secondary to the loss of a husband, son, friend, businessman, and public figure.

His funeral reflected the extravagant life he was known for. Igho was buried in London in a gold coffin reportedly valued at more than $745,000.

His life was marked by wealth, travel, entrepreneurship, and a large social-media presence. But his sudden death has left behind a grieving wife and loved ones confronting a tragedy that unfolded during what was supposed to be a memorable luxury vacation.

A holiday that began with celebration and togetherness ultimately became a heartbreaking final chapter for a 43-year-old man whose life was lived prominently in the public eye.

His story now stands as a painful reminder that unexpected medical complications can occur even during seemingly routine cosmetic treatments. 💔🙏🕊️
