🚨 NEW CLAIMS RAISE QUESTIONS IN MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF KANSAS CITY WOMAN KATIE GARCIA

New information reportedly provided by a first responder has raised additional questions surrounding the unexplained injuries and death of 42-year-old Katie Garcia, whose family has spent weeks seeking answers about what happened inside and outside her Kansas City, Missouri, home.

According to Katie’s closest friends and loved ones, a first responder recently came forward with information about the condition in which she was discovered on July 30.

The responder allegedly said that when emergency personnel arrived at the home, Katie appeared to be in such severe condition that they initially believed she was already deceased.

The individual also reportedly said Katie had vaginal bleeding and bruising around her neck that appeared consistent with strangulation.

Katie’s loved ones say this information was provided to the Kansas City Police Department. However, authorities previously indicated that there were no immediate signs of foul play.

The new claims have intensified concerns among Katie’s family and friends, who say they believe important questions remain unanswered. 💔

Katie had been fighting for her life for nearly a month after being found critically injured, bleeding, partially unclothed and unconscious in the side yard of her home.

She had reportedly worked a normal shift as a mᴀssage therapist on July 29 before returning home around 9:30 p.m.

According to childhood friends, Katie and her husband, Billy, eventually went to sleep on different floors of the house. Katie reportedly slept on a main-floor couch because of a recent injury, while Billy slept in a third-floor bedroom.

Then, shortly after midnight, something changed.

The family says the home’s ADT security system recorded the back door opening at exactly 12:11 a.m. on July 30.

According to them, the door remained open until sometime after 7 a.m.

What happened during those unexplained hours remains unknown.

Friends say Billy woke at approximately 6:30 a.m. and realized Katie was not inside. He reportedly searched for her before going outside and finding her unconscious in the side yard.

Katie had suffered serious injuries and was bleeding. Her loved ones were particularly troubled by the fact that she was reportedly found without pants or underwear.

Billy called 911, and Katie was transported to a hospital, where she underwent multiple surgeries for brain bleeding.

Her family says doctors discovered two areas of blunt-force trauma to her head, resulting in brain bleeds. They say the bleeding caused a 7-millimeter midline shift, meaning pressure inside her skull had become severe enough to push the brain away from its normal central position.

Another detail raised further questions.

According to Katie’s family, her blood-alcohol concentration when she arrived at the hospital was approximately .400 — an extraordinarily high level ᴀssociated with potentially life-threatening alcohol poisoning.

Her loved ones have questioned how Katie could have reportedly gone to bed inside her home and later been found critically injured outside, partially unclothed and unconscious, while also having such a high reported blood-alcohol level.

Because of the circumstances, the family also raised concerns about the possibility of Sєxual ᴀssault. They say, however, that a Sєxual-ᴀssault examination was not performed because Katie was unable to consent due to her medical condition and they were reportedly told that a warrant would be required.

Thirteen days after Katie was hospitalized, Billy filed for guardianship and conservatorship.

Katie remained critically ill for weeks as her family and friends hoped she would recover.

On Aug. 27, after 28 days of fighting for her life, medical intervention was discontinued at the family’s request. Katie died two days later, on Aug. 29. 🕊️💔

Following her death, FOX4 attempted to speak with Billy at the couple’s home. Because he was reportedly the last known person to see Katie before she was discovered outside, a reporter asked him questions about the case. Billy declined to comment and returned inside.

It is important to emphasize that police have not publicly identified Billy as a suspect, and no publicly released evidence currently establishes that he — or anyone else — caused Katie’s injuries.

Katie’s family says another discovery has added to their concerns.

According to them, just days after Katie was hospitalized, Billy’s brother contacted a professional cleaning company to clean the residence. The cleaners reportedly did not realize whose home it was until later seeing Katie’s story in the news.

Before beginning their work, the cleaners reportedly pH๏τographed parts of the interior. One pH๏τograph appears to show what looks like blood running down a wall and onto the floor. Another reportedly shows affirmations Katie had written on a bathroom mirror.

The family and her closest friends are now left with a series of unanswered questions.

What happened after the back door opened at 12:11 a.m.? Why did it remain open for hours? How did Katie end up critically injured and partially unclothed in her own yard? How did her reported blood-alcohol concentration reach approximately .400? And why were the family’s dogs reportedly kept in their kennel that night when they normally moved freely throughout the home?

Each question seems to lead to another.

Katie’s loved ones have created a GoFundMe to help obtain legal representation and potentially hire a private investigator. They say they want an independent investigation because they feel their questions have not been adequately answered.

For now, the circumstances surrounding Katie’s injuries and death remain unresolved.

Her family is not asking the public to reach a conclusion before the evidence is known. They are asking for answers — about the hours no one can yet fully explain, the injuries Katie suffered, and what happened before she was found.

Katie was 42 years old.
