‼️ THEY WENT TO CHURCH TO CELEBRATE A BAPTISM. HOURS LATER, A FAMILY WAS LIVING THROUGH EVERY PARENT’S WORST NIGHTMARE.

Theo Sabo was only 5 years old.

On September 13, Theo’s family gathered for a baptism celebration in Peoria, Arizona. It was supposed to be a day filled with family, faith and happiness.

Instead, hours later, their world changed forever.

According to Peoria police, Theo’s family returned home from the celebration at approximately 1 p.m. Roughly three hours later, family members realized the little boy was missing and began searching for him.

His mother, Anca Sabo, eventually found Theo unresponsive inside the family vehicle.

The family immediately began CPR, according to police. Theo was rushed to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save him.

He died that day.

Then came another devastating development.

Police arrested Theo’s parents, Anca and Mihail Sabo, and they were charged in connection with their son’s death.

Prosecutors have said there was confusion over who was supposed to get Theo out of the vehicle. The family’s attorney, however, has described what happened as a tragic accident.

The investigation and legal proceedings will ultimately determine the circumstances and responsibility involved. Until then, the allegations should not be treated as established facts.

But regardless of what the investigation eventually determines, one thing is already certain: a 5-year-old boy is gone, and a family has been shattered.

Theo was the youngest of five siblings.

His four surviving siblings have now lost their little brother. They are also facing the painful reality that their parents are not home as the legal case unfolds.

For a family already struggling with an unimaginable loss, the days ahead are likely to be filled with grief, uncertainty and difficult questions.

Friends have now stepped forward to support the Sabo family, creating a fundraiser and asking others to help them through this devastating period.

One message shared by those supporting the family says:

“There are simply no words for the pain of losing a child.”

Friends say the Sabo family has spent years “serving, loving, and giving to others” and now needs that same love returned to them.

Their request is not about erasing what happened.

It is about helping a grieving family endure the days ahead while investigators and the courts work through the unanswered questions.

For Theo’s loved ones, September 13 will forever be remembered.

It was the day that began with a baptism celebration.

It was the day they lost their 5-year-old son and youngest brother.

And it was the day their family was changed forever.
