💔 Newly Released Interview Sheds Light on the Tragic Ohio Case
More than three years after the deaths of three young brothers, newly released police interview footage has provided further insight into what Chad Doerman told investigators following the 2023 tragedy in Clermont County, Ohio.

The boys — Clayton, 7, Hunter, 4, and Chase, 3 — were killed at their family home in June 2023. Authorities said Doerman also attempted to harm two other family members before police arrived.

During the interview, detectives questioned Doerman about what had happened. He initially gave little information, but later spoke about a Bible story involving sacrifice and obedience. His account appeared to resemble the story of Abraham and Isaac from Genesis, although he did not identify the pᴀssage by name.

When asked why he had carried out the killings, Doerman told investigators, “For God.” He also described troubling thoughts he had experienced and said he had been seeking help. According to the released footage, he had attended a church service earlier that day.

In August 2024, Doerman pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated murder and two counts of felonious ᴀssault. He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole under a plea agreement that removed the possibility of a death sentence.
