For Courtney and her family, life changed in a single moment when they heard the words every parent fears.

“Your daughter has leukemia.”

The diagnosis came as a shock, changing the future they had imagined for their beautiful daughter, McKenzie. She has been diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL), the most common form of childhood leukemia, and is preparing to begin chemotherapy.
