When little Bennett was born, his parents quickly learned that his first months would look a little different. He was born with clubfoot, with his left foot turned out of its normal position. π₯π
Rather than immediately choosing surgery, Bennett began treatment with a pediatric orthopedic team. His doctors carefully used a series of casts and braces to gradually guide his foot toward a more natural position. ππ·
For his parents, the repeated appointments and treatments weren’t always easy. They simply wanted their tiny boy to be comfortable and have every opportunity to grow up enjoying the things other children do. β€οΈβπ©Ή
Week by week, Bennett’s foot continued to improve.
And through it all, there was one thing that made the difficult moments a little easier:
