🥺💗 BORN WITH A MARK ACROSS HER FACE — LITTLE PENNY IS GROWING UP KNOWING SHE IS BEAUTIFUL 🌈✨
When little Penelope “Penny” Louise was born, her mother Deborah noticed a deep red mark covering part of the left side of her newborn daughter’s face. At first, she thought it was simply a bruise from birth.

She soon learned that it was a port-wine stain, a type of birthmark that can become more noticeable as a child grows. Because it extends across Penny’s forehead and around her eye, doctors recommended regular eye checks and discussed monitoring for conditions that can sometimes be ᴀssociated with these birthmarks. 🏥💗

Laser treatment was eventually recommended, but the pandemic delayed Penny’s first appointments. During that time, her family began focusing less on the uncertainty and more on the little girl behind the birthmark — her laughter, determination and growing personality. 🌷

When treatment finally began, Penny surprised everyone with how well she handled it. At seven months old, she continued to show no signs of glaucoma or brain involvement, while her first treatment was already showing encouraging results. 🙏✨

But for her mother, the most important treatment isn’t something that happens in a hospital.

It’s teaching Penny to love herself. 💕

Deborah wants her daughter to grow up confident, knowing that looking different never makes her less beautiful, less worthy or less deserving of love.

Penny’s birthmark is part of her story — but it will never be the whole story. She is a little girl who is growing, laughing, learning and discovering the world, surrounded by a family who loves every part of her. 🌈💙🙏
