On November 29, 2017, Kinsley Michelle Green came into the world after more than 36 hours of labor and an emergency C-section. She was a healthy, beautiful baby with blonde hair, bright blue eyes and a smile that quickly filled her parents’ hearts. 👶💕

But just ten months later, everything changed.

Kinsley began sleeping poorly, developed a persistent diaper rash and became unusually fussy. Her mother felt that something wasn’t right. Then, on October 22, 2018, Kinsley was rushed to the emergency room as her health suddenly worsened.

The diagnosis was heartbreaking:

Kinsley had leukemia. 💔🏥

At only 10 months old, she immediately began an intense treatment journey involving chemotherapy, transfusions, procedures and long stays in the hospital. Her parents put their lives on hold to remain beside her through every difficult day. ❤️‍🩹

There were infections, fevers and serious complications along the way. Twice, her condition became life-threatening. But Kinsley kept going — supported by her parents, her medical team and the nurses who became such an important part of her world. 🌷🙏

After six months of inpatient chemotherapy, Kinsley was finally able to continue treatment as an outpatient. Even through everything she had endured, she continued reaching milestones and showing a resilience that amazed those around her. 🥹💗
