🥺💗 BORN WITH A DARK BIRTHMARK COVERING HER FACE — LUNA’S JOURNEY IS FAR FROM OVER 🌈✨
When Luna Fenner was born in 2019, her mother was surprised by the large dark birthmark covering much of her daughter’s face. It was a giant congenital melanocytic nevus, a rare condition that can grow with a child and requires ongoing medical monitoring. 🏥💗

As Luna grew, her family searched for ways to treat the condition while protecting her future. They travelled thousands of miles for treatment, enduring procedures, recovery, and years of uncertainty. 🙏🌷

Some treatments left significant scarring, leading the family to seek reconstructive care. Since 2024, Luna has undergone staged procedures using tissue expanders — gradually creating healthy skin that can be used to rebuild areas affected by scarring. ✨

The journey has not been simple, and there is no overnight transformation. It has meant repeated surgeries, long recoveries, travel, and countless difficult moments for a young child and her family. ❤️‍🩹

But through it all, Luna keeps growing, smiling, and moving forward. 🌈🥹
