๐ฑ๐ญ MAN IN CHUCKY-STYLE MASK ACCUSED OF TERRORIZING PHILADELPHIA IS ARRESTED AFTER FLEEING THE CITY ๐จ

A bizarre and frightening incident that left a Philadelphia woman injured has taken a new turn after police arrested the man accused of chasing her while wearing a Chucky-style Halloween mask. ๐จ๐ญ
The suspect, 22-year-old Zymire Hughes, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Las Vegas on Aug. 25, after authorities say he fled Philadelphia following the disturbing Aug. 12 incident. He is being held at the Clark County Detention Center while awaiting extradition to Philadelphia. ๐
According to police, Hughes allegedly approached pedestrians in downtown Philadelphia while wearing a mask resembling the horror character Chucky. Earlier that morning, he was reportedly seen harแดssing people before allegedly pursuing a 40-year-old woman who was jogging near Philadelphia City Hall.
The woman told authorities that the masked man repeatedly asked her if she was โready to die.โ ๐จ
She became frightened and ran from him, but reportedly suffered a serious leg injury in the process. ๐โโ๏ธ๐

Another woman, identified as Jameka, also encountered the masked suspect and tried to warn the jogger that someone was following her. When he turned his attention toward Jameka, she said she screamed for help and kicked him in the chest, causing him to back away.
Police later identified Hughes as the person they believed was responsible for the incidents and issued an arrest warrant.
Authorities believe his actions may have been connected to an attempt to create social-media content or attract attention online, although the investigation remains ongoing. ๐ฑ๐จ
After reportedly leaving Philadelphia, Hughes traveled first to Orlando and then Las Vegas, where authorities say he hid inside an apartment for several days.
U.S. Marshals eventually tracked him down and arrested him without incident on Aug. 25. ๐
For the woman who was chased, what began as an ordinary morning jog suddenly became a terrifying encounter.
For Philadelphia residents who witnessed the strange scenes, the arrest now brings some relief. ๐
Hughes remains in custody while authorities work through the extradition process. The allegations against him have not been proven in court, and he is presumed innocent unless convicted.
What started as a bizarre sighting of a man in a Chucky-style mask ultimately became a frightening police investigation โ and now, the suspect is behind bars awaiting his return to Philadelphia. ๐ญ๐จโ๏ธ
