🔥 PART 2 — THE DOCTOR PRESSED PLAY AGAIN… AND DANIEL REALIZED HIS OWN VOICE HAD JUST EXPOSED THE TRUTH.
Nobody spoke.
Daniel stared at the doctor’s phone.
The recording was still playing.
His own voice had filled the burn unit.
“Mom… give me the oil.”
Vivian’s face changed.
“Daniel…”
He immediately stepped forward.
“That recording doesn’t prove anything.”
The doctor looked at him.
“It proves you were there.”
Daniel’s calm expression began to crack.
Police turned toward Vivian.
“Tell us exactly what happened.”
Vivian hesitated.
Then she looked at her son.
Daniel shook his head.
“Mom, don’t.”
That one sentence changed everything.
The doctor looked toward Emma.
“She couldn’t have caused these injuries herself.”
Daniel suddenly raised his voice.
“You don’t know what happened!”
The room fell silent again.
Because only moments earlier, Daniel had described the incident as a simple accident.
Now he was reacting as if someone had uncovered something much bigger.
The doctor carefully picked up Emma’s damaged phone.
“There is more.”
Daniel froze.
“What?”
The doctor tapped the screen.
Another recording appeared.
It had been captured several minutes before the first one.
He pressed play.
Emma’s weak voice could be heard in the background.
“Please… stop.”
Then Vivian’s voice.
“You’ll ruin everything.”
A few seconds of silence followed.
Then Daniel spoke.
“We can’t let anyone find out.”
Vivian whispered:
“Then what are we going to do with her?”
Daniel didn’t answer immediately.
When he finally spoke, his voice was cold.
“We make them believe it was her fault.”
The recording stopped.
Emma’s mother covered her mouth.
One of the officers immediately stepped toward Daniel.
Daniel backed away.
“No. That’s not what I meant.”
But the evidence was no longer just a single sentence.
The doctor had another file.
A pH๏τograph.
It showed Emma’s clothes before she was taken to the hospital.
There were traces of oil on them.
And beside the clothing was something else.
A small container.
Daniel recognized it instantly.
His face went pale.
Vivian whispered:
“Daniel…”
He turned toward her.
For the first time, mother and son looked terrified of each other.
The officer picked up the container.
“Whose is this?”
Neither answered.
Then Emma’s phone suddenly played one final sound.
A message notification.
The doctor opened it.
The sender’s name appeared on the screen.
Daniel’s secret contact.
The message contained only seven words:
“She knows what you did to her.”
Daniel stared at the screen.
Because Emma hadn’t been the only person who knew the truth.
Someone else had known everything.
And that person had been watching Daniel and Vivian from the very beginning.
