Despite widespread speculation following news of the discovery, investigators have confirmed there is absolutely no evidence linking the prehistoric skeleton to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen on the evening of January 31, 2026, and authorities believe she may have been abducted from her Catalina Foothills home during the early morning hours of February 1.
