Baby S Case: Four Adults Face Murder Charges as Newborn’s Tragic Death Heads Toward 2027 Trial

A newborn girl known in court as Baby S died in Sheffield in circumstances that have shocked the local community. A forensic post-mortem determined that the infant d#ied from stab wounds, and prosecutors have since brought murder charges against four adults in connection with the case.
The four defendants are Andrea Skopova, 20, Peter Horvath Jr, 19, and his parents, Peter Horvath Sr, 38, and Nina Horvathova, 37. A 15-year-old girl has separately been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice. Two other women who were previously arrested on suspicion of murder remain on bail.
