🔥 PART 2 — LEO POINTED AT THE WOMAN WHO CLAIMED TO BE HIS MOTHER… THEN SAID SOMETHING THAT MADE ETHAN QUESTION EVERYTHING HE REMEMBERED.

The room went completely silent.

Leo’s tiny finger remained pointed at Sophia.

Sophia stopped moving.

Ethan stared at her.

“Why did you back away?”

Sophia forced a nervous smile.

“I didn’t.”

“You did,” Ethan said.

Leo suddenly buried his face against Emma’s shoulder.

Emma held him тιԍнтly.

Ethan looked at her.

“You know my wife.”

Emma’s eyes filled with tears.

“Yes.”

“How?”

Emma glanced down at Leo.

“Because I was there.”

Ethan stepped closer.

“Where?”

Emma hesitated.

“The night your wife disappeared.”

A stunned murmur moved through the room.

Vanessa and Claire exchanged frightened looks.

Ethan’s voice dropped.

“You told me you knew nothing about that night.”

“I lied.”

“Why?”

Emma looked toward Sophia.

“Because she told me to.”

Sophia immediately shook her head.

“That’s not true.”

Leo suddenly lifted his head.

“No.”

Everyone froze.

It was the first clear word he had spoken since pointing at her.

Ethan knelt beside his son.

“Leo… what happened?”

The boy stared at Sophia.

Then he whispered:

“Mommy cried.”

Ethan’s face went pale.

Leo continued.

“Mommy… sleep.”

Emma closed her eyes.

Ethan looked at her.

“What does he mean?”

Emma’s voice trembled.

“Your wife wasn’t ᴅᴇᴀᴅ.”

The room erupted in whispers.

Ethan stared at her in disbelief.

“Then where is she?”

Emma slowly reached into her pocket.

She pulled out an old pH๏τograph.

It showed Ethan’s wife holding newborn Leo.

But this time Ethan noticed something he had never seen before.

Behind her stood Sophia.

And Sophia was holding the same gold locket Leo was wearing now.

Ethan turned toward her.

“You knew.”

Sophia said nothing.

“You knew my wife was alive.”

Still nothing.

“And you let me believe she was ᴅᴇᴀᴅ.”

Sophia finally whispered:

“She made me promise.”

Ethan stepped forward.

“Where is she?”

Sophia’s eyes filled with tears.

“I don’t know.”

Leo suddenly began crying.

Emma held him closer.

Then the little boy pointed toward a hallway.

“Mommy there.”

Everyone turned.

The hallway was empty.

Ethan walked toward it.

At the end stood a locked door he had never allowed anyone to enter.

His wife’s old room.

He slowly reached for the handle.

The lock clicked.

The door opened.

And on the floor lay a second gold locket.

Beside it was a pH๏τograph.

Ethan picked it up.

His hands began shaking.

Because the pH๏τograph had been taken three years after the night his wife was supposedly killed.

And in the background…

stood the woman Ethan had just spent years believing was telling him the truth.
