Patrick Clancy’s new wife ripped the “so twisted” attacks against him since his ex, Lindsay Clancy, killed their three children, praising him for being “the most selfless and supportive father.”
Infertility specialist Rachel Danis joined the grieving father in his upcoming “60 Minutes” interview — his first since his ex-wife’s murder trial ended in a mistrial earlier this month.
Since the trial began in July, Patrick, 38, who remarried in April and now lives in New York City, has faced an onslaught of sick threats and unfounded conspiracy theories alleging his involvement in the death of his kids.
“I don’t understand how the story’s been so twisted,” she said in a clip, teased on the network Friday morning.
“But I would hope people know that Pat is, as I said before, the most selfless father and supportive partner.”
She also defended herself from those who’ve criticized their love story.
“I was just a girl that met a guy running in Central Park on a really cold Saturday. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.”
Patrick has been subjected to a “relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign” fueled by unhinged influencers and wannabe celebrities that only worsened after the jury failed to reach a verdict, his attorney claimed.
These conspiracy theorists “appear intent on boosting their own social media profiles and potential profit by publishing what they know to be outright falsehoods that Patrick was somehow involved in the death of his young children and other vile claims,” attorney Howard Cooper told Boston 25.
The attacks have “resulted in real-life threats to his reputation, livelihood, and life,” Cooper said.
The band of wackos notably included C-grade celebrity Lisa Rinna, who shamelessly declared “Patrick did it” in a nauseating TikTok post.
Patrick was left childless in 2023 after he returned to his Mᴀssachusetts home and discovered that Lindsay strangled their three children — 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan.
Lindsay had also slit her wrist and jumped out of a second-floor window, paralyzing herself, in an attempted suicide.
Patrick revealed in a heartbreaking moment during his CBS interview that he still talks to his deceased children.
“I talk to them,” Patrick Clancy told CBS correspondent Ross Douthat.
Asked what he tells them, he said: “‘Help me.’ All the time.”
Lindsay’s seven-week-long murder trial ended in a mistrial on Sept. 4 after the jury failed to reach a verdict at the end of seven days of deliberation.
Her defense team had argued that she should be found not guilty by reason of insanity. Eleven jurors agreed she was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis — but one holdout kept them from reaching a unanimous decision.
Patrick Clancy has previously stated that he’s forgiven Lindsay and that he considered her sick rather than evil.
