🥺💙 HE WAS BORN WITHOUT ARMS OR KNEES — NOW LITTLE NICHOLAS IS HOLDING ON TO A DREAM TO WALK 🌈✨

When Nicholas Arredondo was born, his parents, Christina and Christopher, knew their little boy would face challenges they had never imagined.

Nicholas was born with Thrombocytopenia-Absent Radius (TAR) syndrome, a rare condition that affected the development of his limbs. He has no arm bones and no knee joints, and he also needs regular blood transfusions because of the condition. 💔🏥

But Nicholas has never stopped finding his own ways to explore the world.

At just two years old, he can scoot across the floor with remarkable speed, feed himself, use a tablet and even call his dad on the phone. His parents say he continues to surprise them with everything he learns. 🥹💗

Now, his family is holding on to one special dream.

Nicholas is preparing for two major surgeries designed to create artificial knee joints and give him the possibility of walking. The procedures will be followed by months of physical therapy and adaptive equipment as he learns how to use his new legs. 🦿🌷

For his parents, the thought of seeing their son take his first steps is more than a medical milestone.

It is a dream they have carried with them since the day they first held him. 💙

Nicholas has already shown his family that he can find his own way forward.
