A devastating infection caused by meningitis and septicaemia spread rapidly through this little boy’s body, leaving him critically ill within hours. His parents watched as doctors fought desperately to keep him alive. 🏥💔

The infection severely affected the blood supply to his limbs, causing damage that could not be reversed. Eventually, doctors faced an unbearable decision: all four limbs would need to be amputated to give him a chance of survival.

His parents signed the consent forms with trembling hands, knowing that the surgery was the only path forward. ❤️‍🩹

Then, during the operation, his heart stopped.

Once.
Twice.
Three times.

Each time, doctors worked to bring him back.
