🥺💗 SHE WENT HOME AFTER GIVING BIRTH — THEN EVERYTHING CHANGED 🌷🙏
Just days after welcoming her baby daughter Amelia, Texas mother Krysten Pacheco began feeling feverish. Her condition quickly became life-threatening, and she was airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio after going into septic shock. 🏥💔
Krysten spent two weeks in intensive care. The severe infection caused extensive damage to the blood flow in her hands and feet, and despite doctors doing everything they could, she eventually had to undergo amputations of all four limbs. ❤️🩹
Her recovery continued with more surgeries and around a dozen skin grafts. She spent months in the hospital and rehabilitation before finally being able to return home on February 11, nearly four months after giving birth. 🌷

Coming home meant something deeply important: she could finally be with Amelia and her two-year-old son again. 💗
Krysten is now learning to adapt to everyday life while caring for her children and preparing for prosthetics. She knows there will be challenges ahead, but she is grateful to be home and making new memories with her family. 🏡🌈
She still carries some sadness over missing her daughter’s first three months, but she is choosing to focus on the moments they can share now.
Sometimes, rebuilding a life doesn’t happen all at once. It happens one small adjustment, one loving moment and one day at a time. 💙🙏✨
