When Rachel learned that her first son, Daniel, had a rare skull condition called Muenke syndrome, she never imagined that she would one day face the same diagnosis with her second son, Matthew. π
Both boys have needed major skull surgeries from a very young age. Daniel had several procedures to help create room for his growing brain, while Matthew also underwent reconstruction and later needed another operation after an infection. π₯β€οΈβπ©Ή
Today, Daniel is four and Matthew is two. Their journeys are still ongoing, but their mother says she wouldn’t change either of them for the world.
