PLEASE KEEP 3-YEAR-OLD BENTLEY IN YOUR PRAYERS — HIS STAGE 4 NEUROBLASTOMA HAS RETURNED

This pH๏τo captures why Amanda, Bentley’s mother, says she is so afraid.

Her little boy is only 3 years old and is facing relapsed, high-risk stage 4 neuroblastoma, a serious childhood cancer he first battled when he was just 7 months old.

After chemotherapy and an incredibly difficult treatment journey, Bentley’s family finally received the news they had been praying for: remission.

They believed the hardest chapter was behind them.

But after Bentley turned 3, the cancer returned.

He is now back in treatment, with his family preparing for a bone marrow transplant and hoping his current treatment will make him strong enough to reach that next stage.

Bentley is also autistic, and Amanda says this adds another heartbreaking layer to the experience because he cannot fully understand why he continues to face hospital visits and painful procedures.

For his mother, the fear never truly disappears. Every scan brings anxiety, and every fever can feel frightening. Yet despite the fear, she continues advocating for her son and searching for every possible source of support.

Amanda is asking for prayers for Bentley and hopes his story reaches people who may have helpful resources, medical connections or support for families facing relapsed childhood cancer.

She also wants other parents to remember: trust your instincts, keep asking questions, advocate for your child, and seek another medical opinion when appropriate.

Please keep Bentley and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they face this difficult journey. ❤️
