💔🕊️ 7-YEAR-OLD JOR’DYNN DUNCAN DIED AFTER MONTHS OF ALLEGED ABUSE — NOW THREE GENERATIONS FACE CHARGES

A seven-year-old girl who should have been surrounded by love and protection instead became the center of a devastating criminal investigation after authorities uncovered allegations of prolonged abuse inside the home where she was living.

Jor’Dynn Duncan, from Long Island, died in December 2025 after investigators say she suffered months of severe mistreatment.

According to prosecutors, nearly 90 injuries were found on the child’s body. Some of those injuries allegedly went untreated, eventually becoming infected and contributing to her death.

The allegations have shocked the community not only because of the severity of the injuries, but because several members of Jor’Dynn’s own family are now facing criminal charges.

Emily Kelly, 50, who held custody of Jor’Dynn, faces a second-degree murder charge. Her mother, Barbara Renner, 75, and her daughter, Elyssa Seymore, 24, also face charges including manslaughter and unlawful imprisonment, according to authorities.

Prosecutors have alleged that evidence collected during the investigation included pH๏τographs, videos and text messages documenting abuse.

Investigators also reportedly discovered that Jor’Dynn had missed numerous days of school. Questions have been raised about whether caregivers provided misleading explanations for her absence or condition.
