A mother’s determination to help her daughter has inspired people around the world after traveling thousands of miles in search of a treatment that could change her little girl’s future.

Baby Luna was born with a congenital melanocytic nevus (CMN), a rare skin condition that caused a large dark birthmark to cover most of her face. Because of its distinctive shape, many people compared it to a “Batman mask.”

💙 After consulting numerous specialists in the United States, Luna’s mother, Carol Fenner, was repeatedly told that the condition would be extremely difficult to treat.
