Born Without Arms and Legs Due to Tetra-Amelia Syndrome, Zuly Sanguino Became an Inspiring Artist Using Only Her Mouth

Born in Colombia with a rare congenital condition known as tetra-amelia syndrome, Zuly Sanguino entered the world without fully developed arms or legs. From an early age, she faced challenges that many people would consider impossible to overcome. Yet rather than allowing her condition to define her future, Zuly chose to build a life guided by determination, resilience, and hope.
Growing up, everyday tasks required creativity, patience, and extraordinary perseverance. While others saw limitations, Zuly focused on discovering what she could accomplish. Over time, she developed remarkable skills by using her mouth to perform activities that most people carry out with their hands.
One of those skills would eventually transform her life.
