Corvin Castle , also called Hunyadi Castle or Hunedoara Castle , is the medieval fortress of Hunedoara , one of the most important monuments of Gothic architecture in Romania .

The castle was built in the 15th century by Iancu de Hunedoara on the site of an old fortification, on a rock at the foot of which flows the Zlaști stream . It is an imposing construction, equipped with towers , bastions and a keep . The castle has been restored and transformed into a museum.
The fortress was one of the largest and most famous properties of Iancu de Hunedoara.
