🥺💙 IN JUST ONE DAY, LITTLE JEREMIAH’S WORLD CHANGED — BUT HIS FAMILY NEVER STOPPED HOPING 🌈🙏

Just two years old, Jeremiah Cox was happily playing at the park when his family noticed something was wrong.

He developed a high fever and became seriously ill. Soon, purple marks appeared across his body, and he was rushed to Riley Children’s Hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with septic shock and purpura linked to a suspected bacterial infection. 🏥💔

Thankfully, treatment helped clear the infection. But by then, the illness had severely affected the blood supply to Jeremiah’s arms and legs, and doctors had to remove the damaged portions to protect his life.

For his parents, it was an unimaginable change.

Yet Jeremiah kept showing them his strength. 💙

After more than a month in the hospital, he began learning how to do everyday things again — including crawling and eating. His medical team also hoped that, with rehabilitation and future prosthetics, he could eventually learn to walk again. 🌷✨

The cause of his illness may never be fully understood, but his family is focusing on what comes next.

There will be challenges ahead, and Jeremiah will need time, patience and plenty of support as he grows into his new life.

But he is still the same little boy who loves to play, explore and be close to his family. 🥹💗
