For the first time, Dr. Rachel Danis, Patrick Clancy’s new wife, is speaking publicly about their relationship and the intense attention surrounding Patrick following the deaths of his three children. 💔

In a preview of their upcoming 60 Minutes interview, Danis defended Patrick against online claims and criticism surrounding the case. She said she does not understand how the story has become so distorted and described Patrick as a selfless father and supportive partner. 💙

The couple also shared how they first met. Danis said she was simply “a girl that met a guy running in Central Park on a really cold Saturday,” emphasizing that she sees nothing wrong with how their relationship began. 🏃‍♂️❄️🌳

Patrick has faced widespread discussion on social media since his former wife, Lindsay Clancy, was accused of killing their three children — Cora, Dawson, and Callan — in January 2023. Lindsay’s 2026 trial ended in a mistrial after the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on her criminal responsibility. Prosecutors have not yet announced whether they will seek a retrial. ⚖️

During the 60 Minutes preview, Patrick also spoke about his grief and the way he continues to feel connected to his children. He said he still talks to them “all the time” and asks them for help. 🙏💔
