π₯Ίπ SHE WAS BORN WITHOUT LEGS β BUT PAIGE FOUND A WAY TO MAKE THE GYM HER OWN ππ€ΈββοΈ
When Paige Calendine was just 18 months old, her parents took her to gymnastics for a simple reason: they wanted her to become stronger, have fun and spend time with other children. β€οΈ
Paige was born without legs, but she quickly discovered that gymnastics could become so much more than an activity.
She learned to approach every movement in her own way β adapting jumps, turns and floor exercises to work with her body. Instead of asking whether she could do something like everyone else, Paige found her own way to do it. πͺβ¨
Over the years, the little girl from Ohio became a compeΡΞΉΡive gymnast, earning medals and competing at state and national levels. Her story reached millions of people online and was later featured in the documentary Built Different. π·π

In 2024, Paige was invited to perform at a special Gymnastics for All event in Minneapolis during the U.S. Olympic Trials, sharing the floor with athletes with different physical abilities. π
Then, at 14, Paige made another brave decision. In 2025, she stepped away from compeΡΞΉΡive gymnastics as the intense training became increasingly demanding.
But she didn’t step away from being active.
She explored cheerleading, swimming, basketball and football, and eventually returned to her old gym β this time as a helper and coach for younger children. π₯Ήπ
Today, Paige is pα΄ssing on what she learned: that sometimes the most important question isn’t βCan she do it?β
It’s:
βHow can we make it possible?β πβ¨
And her next dream has nothing to do with trophies. Paige hopes to become a pediatrician, using her love for children to help others one day. π©Ίπ
From a little girl simply wanting to become stronger to a young woman helping others believe in what is possible β Paigeβs journey is proof that there can be more than one way to reach a dream. πβ¨
