🚨💔 LINDSAY CLANCY CASE: APPLE WATCH DATA WAS PRESENTED AT TRIAL — BUT IT DID NOT “OVERTURN” THE CASE

Digital forensic evidence from Lindsay Clancy’s Apple Watch was presented during her 2026 trial, including health data such as heart-rate measurements and activity records. A prosecution witness testified about the data in August, and the defense challenged aspects of the digital evidence.
However, I could not find reliable reporting or court coverage confirming the much more dramatic claim that newly unsealed raw data showed her heart rate remaining at a critical level for two hours or proved that her autonomic nervous system had “collapsed.” Those claims should not be presented as established medical or forensic findings.

The case itself also has not been overturned by the Apple Watch evidence. Clancy’s trial ended in a mistrial on September 4 after jurors failed to reach a unanimous decision. Her defense has since asked the judge to find her not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility, with a hearing scheduled for September 29.
So the verified story is still significant: Apple Watch and phone data became part of the courtroom evidence, but there is no reliable basis for claiming that the watch data alone proves a neurological breakdown or completely destroys the prosecution’s case.
