💙🥺 BORN WITH AN ULTRA-RARE CONDITION, LITTLE ISLA IS INSPIRING MILLIONS WITH HER JOYFUL SPIRIT ✨🙏

At just three years old, Isla Kilpatrick-Screaton is living with a condition so rare that doctors believe she may be the only person in the world with her particular genetic mutation.

Isla was born with an extremely rare form of mandibuloacral dysplasia, sometimes described as “Benjamin ʙuттon disease” because it can cause cells to age prematurely.

The condition has affected her growth, breathing, mobility, and development, creating challenges that most children will never have to face.

But somehow, through it all, Isla has continued to smile.

And that smile has reached millions. 💙

Born prematurely at 36 weeks, Isla experienced breathing emergencies almost immediately after birth and spent time in the hospital during her early months.

When she was only three months old, her airway became blocked and she had to be resuscitated.

Later, genetic specialists discovered a unique mutation they had never encountered before.

Her parents, Stacey and Kyle, were told that Isla was the only known person in the world with that particular mutation.

There was no roadmap.

No support group.

And no way of knowing exactly what the future would hold. 🥺

Isla continues to live with a heart condition, extremely narrow airways, and developmental delays. She primarily communicates using Makaton sign language and only recently learned to crawl.

Yet none of that has taken away her incredible personality.
