🕊️💔 JUST TWO DAYS AFTER TURNING 8 MONTHS, LITTLE RIDGE’S STORY CAME TO A HEARTBREAKING END

Just two days earlier, Annsley and Bailey had been celebrating their precious son Ridge turning eight months old. 🎂💙

They celebrated his smiles, his progress, and every little milestone that felt extraordinary because of everything their baby boy had already endured.

Ridge was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare condition that leaves the skin incredibly fragile. From his earliest days, his parents carefully changed his bandages several times a day, doing everything they could to keep him comfortable and give him a happy childhood. 🥺🙏

Despite all the challenges, Ridge was known for something beautiful — his smile. 💙

His parents remembered him as a little boy who rarely cried or fussed, even during difficult moments. That smile became one of the greatest sources of joy in their lives. 🥹✨

Ridge also faced additional health struggles, including treatment for an infection affecting his right eye.

Then, on a Sunday morning, everything changed.

Ridge suddenly began having severe difficulty breathing. Paramedics rushed him by helicopter to Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham, where doctors fought desperately to save him.

For 27 minutes, they tried to bring their little boy back.

But despite every effort, Ridge could not be saved. 💔🕊️

He was only eight months old.

For his parents, the loss came with heartbreaking speed. Just two days earlier, they had been celebrating eight months of life with the little boy who had already shown them so much courage.

Ridge’s life was far too short, but it was filled with love, strength, and countless precious moments. ❤️

And above all, he kept smiling.
