A little girl born with a cyst the size of a pineapple under her left arm is inspiring many with her strength as she continues to smile through daily challenges. 💛

Two-year-old Jessi Campbell was born with an estimated 1kg cyst affecting her left arm, chest, and fingers. Before birth, doctors diagnosed her with a lymphatic malformation, a rare condition in which the lymph vessels develop abnormally. At 11 months old, she was also diagnosed with Klippel-Trénaunay syndrome, a rare disorder that can cause birthmarks, enlarged veins, and overgrowth of limbs.

To help reduce the size of the cyst, Jessi has already undergone three rounds of sclerotherapy, a treatment that shrinks abnormal lymph vessels. She is expected to continue receiving two or three treatments each year. Because the fluid inside the cyst shifts constantly, the weight of her arm changes from day to day and often becomes even heavier when she is unwell. The extra weight has also affected her balance and caused her spine to begin curving. 🩺

Despite everything, Jessi refuses to let her condition stop her. She learned to walk a little later than other children while finding her balance, but today she loves playing alongside her older sister, Sophie. Although three of her fingers are enlarged and her hand is affected by the condition, she continues to explore the world with determination. 🌈

Her parents, Amara and Jonathan Campbell from Brisbane, Australia, have faced painful moments when strangers made hurtful comments about Jessi’s appearance. Instead of focusing on those words, they remind their daughter every day that she is beautiful and deeply loved. ❤️

Doctors first noticed the cyst during Amara’s 19-week pregnancy scan, but the family did not know how extensive it would be until Jessi was born in August 2021. After spending ten days in hospital, she finally went home, though her family quickly realized that ordinary baby clothes would not fit her arm and had to order custom-made clothing. 👶

Today, Jessi also attends hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy to help improve her mobility and strength. Her parents remain hopeful that ongoing treatments will reduce the size of her arm before she begins school, making everyday life a little easier for her. 🤍

As Jessi continues to grow, her family is raising funds to help cover the cost of her specialized clothing and ongoing medical care. Through every challenge, they remain focused on one thing: giving their brave little girl the happiest childhood possible. 🌸
