💔 WILL ROBERTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN STARTING HIGH SCHOOL TODAY — INSTEAD, HIS MOTHER VISITED HIS GRAVE
Today was supposed to be a milestone for 15-year-old Will Roberts: his first day of high school.
Instead, his mother Brittney drove his younger sister Charlie to her first day of 7th grade, facing the painful reality of an empty seat where Will should have been.
She imagined taking pH๏τos of both of her children, hearing Will complain about school and watching Charlie laugh. But after dropping Charlie off at the school gate, Brittney’s next stop was the cemetery to visit her son.
For Charlie, another school year has begun. But for her family, this milestone carries the heartbreaking absence of a brother who should have been there to experience it with her.
