💔🏠 MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY HEARTBROKEN AFTER BELOVED ELDERLY COUPLE LOST IN HOME INVASION

A Mississippi community is mourning the loss of Billy Blair, 74, and Virginia Carol Blair, 71, a beloved elderly couple whose lives were tragically cut short inside their own home.

The devastating incident began when family members became concerned after they were unable to reach the Blairs and requested a welfare check. When officers arrived at the residence, they reportedly discovered the front door open.

What followed was a tense and prolonged confrontation that lasted approximately six hours, transforming what began as a welfare check into a major law enforcement emergency. 💔🚨

Authorities allege that 17-year-old Cordarius Hobbs was involved in the incident. According to reports, officers encountered gunfire after arriving at the property, leading to an extended standoff while law enforcement worked to bring the situation under control and protect nearby residents.

During the standoff, Hobbs reportedly communicated with authorities and indicated that he would surrender through the front entrance. Authorities allege that he instead attempted to leave through the rear of the residence.

Law enforcement eventually deployed tear gas, after which Hobbs reportedly fled the property. Authorities allege that he fired toward officers during the confrontation and that a nearby infant was also placed in danger.

The standoff ultimately ended when a state trooper fired at Hobbs, injuring him. He survived and was taken into custody for further proceedings. 🚨

Hobbs later appeared in court facing 13 charges, including capital m*rder, burglary and multiple ᴀssault-related offenses. He pleaded not guilty, and a judge denied bond.

Because of his age, Hobbs cannot face the death penalty. If convicted, he could face a lengthy prison sentence under the applicable law.
