🚨 LINDSAY CLANCY TRIAL: DEFENSE SAYS A β€œMALE VOICE” COMMANDED HER β€” NEW TESTIMONY SHEDS LIGHT ON HER CLAIMED MENTAL STATE

A major development emerged during the Lindsay Clancy trial as defense psychologist Dr. Paul Zeizel testified about what Clancy reportedly described experiencing before the 2023 tragedy involving her three children.

According to Zeizel, Clancy told her husband during a hospital phone call that she had heard a male voice commanding her to harm her children and herself. The defense is presenting the account as evidence supporting its argument that Clancy was experiencing severe postpartum psychosis.

The testimony also brought attention to the words Clancy allegedly said to her children in their final moments, adding another emotional dimension to the defense’s account.

Prosecutors dispute the defense’s interpretation of Clancy’s mental state and argue that her actions were deliberate. The jury must ultimately weigh competing expert testimony and other evidence in determining whether she was criminally responsible.

The testimony has therefore placed a central question before the courtroom: what was happening inside Clancy’s mind at the time, and can the evidence establish whether her claimed psychosis affected her legal responsibility?
