💜 NEARLY 13 YEARS OF SEIZURES — YET ELLA STILL CHOOSES HOPE
She was only 7 months old when her childhood changed forever. Nearly 13 years later, Ella is still fighting — and still finding reasons to smile. 🌈
Ella was just a baby when epilepsy first became part of her life. At an age when most children were beginning to discover the world around them, taking their first steps and learning through play, Ella and her family were already facing hospital visits, treatments, uncertainty, and days filled with fear.
What began in infancy became a journey that would span nearly 13 years.
For Ella and her family, there have been countless difficult moments and more challenges than any child should have to endure. But along the way, there have also been moments of hope that reminded them why they keep moving forward. 💜
In 2021, Ella underwent major brain surgery in the hope of gaining better control over her seizures. The procedure brought something her family had long dreamed of — 18 precious months without seizures.
For a family that had spent years living with uncertainty, those months were incredibly meaningful. They were months filled with memories, smiles, laughter, and the simple joys that many people might take for granted. ✨
But eventually, the seizures returned.
Rather than giving up, Ella and her family continued searching for another path forward. In 2025, Ella underwent another major procedure, receiving a deep brain stimulator designed to help manage her seizures.
Even after everything she has already endured, Ella’s journey is not over.
Nearly 13 years of fighting. Two major procedures. Countless appointments. Countless difficult days.
And still, Ella keeps going. ❤️
She smiles.
She laughs.
She loves.
She continues to find joy in the moments around her.
For Ella’s mother, this story is about much more than epilepsy. It is about the strength to continue when the road becomes difficult and the courage to keep believing in better days.
“It’s about perseverance. It’s about hope.” 💜
Those words capture the heart of Ella’s incredible journey.
Today, her family is asking for continued love, encouragement, and prayers as Ella faces the road ahead. They are hoping for strength, healing, brighter days, and ultimately the freedom from seizures they have wished for since Ella was just a baby.
After nearly 13 years, Ella’s fight continues — but so does her hope.
🌷 Keep fighting, Ella. Keep smiling. Your courage is touching more hearts than you may ever know.
Please leave Ella and her family some love in the comments. ❤️🙏
