🥺💙 ONE MOMENT HE WAS PLAYING — THEN LITTLE LOKI WAS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE 🌈🙏
At just 17 months old, little Loki Whiteside was a happy, active toddler who loved running around with his cousins. Then, in a matter of hours, a sudden illness changed everything. 💔

His parents initially thought he had a simple cold, but his temperature quickly became dangerously high. His doctor recognized the warning signs of sepsis and sent him to hospital by ambulance. Loki was soon being treated for septic shock in intensive care. 🏥🙏

Doctors fought to save his life and tried to protect his limbs, but sadly, his right leg could not be saved and had to be amputated above the knee. His fingertips were also badly affected, although they were ultimately spared. ❤️‍🩹

Then, nearly three weeks after he was admitted, something beautiful happened.
