When little Finley Amos became seriously ill at just two years old, his family had no idea their lives were about to change forever. 💔👶

Doctors rushed him to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with meningitis and sepsis. He was placed in an induced coma and spent around two weeks in intensive care. 🏥💙

For several agonizing days, his parents didn’t know whether their little boy would survive. All they could do was stay by his bedside and hope. 🙏

Then came devastating news.

The infection had severely damaged the blood supply to Finley’s fingers and toes. In order to save his life, surgeons had to perform multiple amputations, leaving him without his feet and with only part of one hand. 💔

For his parents, seeing their tiny son after surgery was heartbreaking.

His father, Matt, was terrified to pull back the hospital sheet and see what had happened.

But when he finally did, something unforgettable happened.

Matt later said that seeing his son smile despite everything he had endured made him think: If Finley can do this, then we can too.
