When little Bennett entered the world, his parents quickly learned that his first few months would be a little different. 👶💗

Bennett was born with clubfoot, a condition in which the foot is positioned differently from the usual alignment. His left foot was noticeably turned, prompting his family to seek specialist care soon after his birth. 🦶🏥

Rather than immediately choosing surgery, Bennett was placed under the care of a pediatric orthopedic team led by Dr. Jed Axelrod. His doctors developed a carefully planned treatment using a series of casts and braces to gradually guide his foot into a more natural position. 🩺💙

For his parents, watching their tiny baby go through repeated appointments, casting and bracing wasn’t always easy. 🥺

All they wanted was for Bennett to be comfortable and have every opportunity to grow up doing the things other children enjoy. ❤️🌈

But week after week, Bennett continued to make progress.

His foot was gradually guided into better alignment while his medical team closely monitored his development. What initially felt frightening slowly became a journey of patience, careful treatment and hope. ✨🙏

And through it all, Bennett had one very important job of his own:
