🥺💗 BORN WITH LEGS JUST 5CM LONG, DAISY’S JOURNEY 10 YEARS LATER IS NOTHING SHORT OF EXTRAORDINARY ✨🙏
When little Daisy May Demetre was born in the UK, her parents knew their daughter’s journey would be very different from what they had imagined. 💔👶
Daisy was born with a rare condition called fibular hemimelia, which meant some of the bones in her lower legs were missing or severely shortened. Her legs were only around 5 centimeters long, and her feet had developed differently. 🥺
At just 18 months old, Daisy underwent major surgery to remove her affected legs so doctors could give her the best chance of becoming mobile. 🏥❤️🩹

The road that followed was filled with physical therapy, patience, and countless small victories.
Slowly, bravely, Daisy learned to stand.
Then she took her first steps with prosthetic legs. 🦿✨
Growing up with a visible difference wasn’t always easy. Daisy experienced difficult moments at school and was sometimes teased for looking different. Her family also had to learn how to help her grow into a confident young girl who understood that her differences did not define her. 💔
But Daisy kept moving forward.
She learned to walk, play, explore, and handle everyday activities with remarkable independence. 💪💗
And then, something completely unexpected happened.
Daisy discovered the runway. 👗✨

Encouraged by her father, Alex, she stepped into the world of fashion — and her confidence and bright personality quickly captured people’s attention.
In 2018, Daisy appeared at London Fashion Week.
The following year, she went even further, walking at Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week, amazing audiences with her confidence and presence. 🌎✨
In 2019, she was also honored with the Child of Courage award at the Pride of Birmingham Awards. 🏆💗
Today, Daisy continues to share pieces of her life, from school days to everyday adventures, inspiring people who follow her journey.
She has shown the world that sometimes the things that make us different can become the very things that make us stronger. 🌸
Daisy’s story isn’t about what she lost.
It’s about everything she discovered she could do.
From a little girl facing an uncertain future to a confident young woman stepping onto some of the world’s biggest runways, Daisy has spent the past decade proving that limitations don’t have to decide where your dreams take you. 🦿💗✨
🥹 Her journey is a beautiful reminder: never underestimate what a determined heart can accomplish. 🙏🌈
