Born at just 24 weeks, little Myla entered the world far earlier than anyone had hoped. She was critically ill and faced months of uncertainty, with many difficult ups and downs along the way. 🏥💔

For her mom, Chi, every day in the NICU brought a mixture of fear, patience and hope. She leaned on her faith and the support of her family, reminding herself not to focus on how long they had been there — but on being present for Myla every step of the way. 🙏💗

After an incredible 285 days in the NICU, that long-awaited moment finally arrived.

At nine and a half months old, she was doing well, with good lung function and able to eat like a healthy baby. The hospital team celebrated her discharge with a special clap-out ceremony, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. ✨💕

Myla’s story also carries a beautiful connection: her own mother was once a premature baby cared for by the same doctors. Decades later, she returned to that same hospital to welcome her daughter into the world. 🌷
