🚨 SHEFFIELD BABY S CASE: MOTHER AMONG FOUR ADULTS CHARGED AFTER NEWBORN GIRL DIES

A newborn baby girl known as Baby S was found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ at a property in Sheffield, England, on August 30, 2026, after police received concerns about the safety of an infant. A forensic post-mortem determined that she died from stab wounds.
The baby’s mother, Andrea Skopova, 20, along with Peter Horvath Jr., 19, Peter Horvath Sr., 38, and Nina Horvathova, 37, have all been charged with m*rd3r. The adults also face allegations of causing or allowing the d3ath of a child and perverting the course of justice by allegedly taking steps to conceal what happened.

A 15-year-old girl, who cannot be named because of her age, has separately been charged with perverting the course of justice. All five defendants have been remanded in custody.
Court proceedings have revealed further forensic details about the case, while investigators continue examining evidence recovered from the property. Two other women who were previously arrested remain on bail as inquiries continue.
The four adults are due to stand trial beginning April 12, 2027, with the hearing expected to last six to seven weeks. The CPS has stressed that the defendants have the right to a fair trial and that the charges are not a finding of guilt.
