💥🚨 CHAD DOERMAN CASE: NEWLY RELEASED INTERROGATION FOOTAGE SHEDS LIGHT ON THE MOTIVE HE DESCRIBED TO DETECTIVES

Newly released interrogation footage from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office is bringing renewed attention to the case of Chad Doerman and the events surrounding the d#aths of his three young sons — Clayton, 7, Hunter, 4, and Chase, 3, in June 2023. Reports published in August 2026 say the footage includes statements Doerman made to detectives about what he believed was happening in his mind at the time.
Because Doerman pleaded guilty in August 2024 rather than going through a full trial, the question of motive was not explored through a conventional jury proceeding. He received three consecutive life sentences without par#le after pleading guilty to three counts of m#rder and two counts of felonious ᴀssault.

In the newly released interview, Doerman told investigators that he believed he had acted “for God.” He described thoughts connected to a Bible story about sacrifice and said that memories of the story returned after attending a church service. According to reports, he told detectives that he believed he was being tested and became convinced that he had to obey what he perceived as a divine command.
That explanation has now become a central point of public discussion surrounding the newly released footage. However, the statements represent Doerman’s own account of his thinking, not an independent finding that his explanation was objectively true.
The footage also provides a rare look at an interrogation that occurred after the 2023 incident, giving investigators’ questions and Doerman’s responses greater public visibility than they had during the original court proceedings.
The case remains especially painful because Clayton, Hunter and Chase were so young. Their mother and loved ones have continued to remember them not through the circumstances of their d#aths, but as brothers who loved spending time together and sharing ordinary childhood moments.
Now, more than three years after the tragedy, the release of the interrogation footage is prompting renewed questions about what Doerman believed, what led to his actions, and how much the newly public evidence can actually explain.
👀 The footage may offer a clearer look at what Doerman told investigators — but it cannot undo the loss suffered by the boys’ family.
