For more than two months, 12-year-old Xavier Taylor has been facing an unimaginable journey — one that began in an instant on May 26 while he was warming up for a youth baseball game in New Jersey.

A baseball accidentally struck Xavier in the neck. He suddenly collapsed and went into cardiac arrest before being rushed by air to a hospital, where he has remained in a coma ever since.

Today, his family is still waiting for the moment they have been praying for — the moment Xavier opens his eyes and gives them a sign that he is ready to come back to them. 💙

There has not yet been a major medical breakthrough to celebrate, but his loved ones refuse to lose faith.

Now, they are asking the community and everyone who has followed Xavier’s story to continue standing beside their family through prayer and fasting. 🙏
