CINCINNATI, OHIO — August 6, 2026 — Seven-year-old William Evans-Ellis should have been spending his childhood reading books, building elaborate Lego creations and discovering the world around him.

On August 6, Cincinnati police discovered William inside a closet at an apartment on Madison Road.
