A young mother, TikTok creator and beloved member of an online community is being remembered after her life was tragically cut short at just 26 years old.

Alyshia Rushing, known affectionately as “Mama A,” was a mother of four who had built a TikTok following of more than 500,000 people by sharing motherhood, family moments and pieces of her everyday life. ❤️

Her life changed forever in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 22, when a serious two-vehicle crash occurred in Montgomery, Alabama.

According to initial reports, the collision happened at approximately 2:15 a.m. on southbound I-85 between Mitylene and Taylor roads.

Emergency responders arrived to a devastating scene, with one of the vehicles reportedly on fire. Initial reports indicated that both male drivers involved in the collision pᴀssed away at the scene, while a female pᴀssenger was transported to a hospital with serious injuries that were initially described as non-life-threatening.

That pᴀssenger was later identified as Alyshia Rushing.

According to the father of her children, Alyshia ultimately pᴀssed away from the injuries she sustained in the crash. 🕊️💔

The news has sent shockwaves through the online community that had followed Alyshia’s journey as a mother.

With more than half a million followers on TikTok, she had created a space where she shared the realities of raising children, family memories and ordinary moments from her life.
