For one mother, watching her daughter suffer through 37 seizures in just 12 hours was a nightmare she never imagined having to live through. 💔

Ten-year-old Kaylie has already faced more medical challenges in her young life than most children could ever imagine.

She lives with epilepsy, hydrocephalus, and a PIK3CA gene mutation, conditions that have required years of appointments, scans, treatments, and constant medical care. 🏥

Her family had spent years monitoring her health, but earlier this year, Kaylie’s mother, Tammy Hammond, felt that something needed another look.

When Kaylie finally had the scan in June, the results revealed something frightening:

Doctors scheduled surgery for August 24 to remove the tumor.

But just days before the planned operation, Kaylie’s condition suddenly became much more frightening.

Her seizures intensified dramatically.

In the worst 12-hour period, she experienced 37 seizures.
