💔🕊️ TWO-YEAR-OLD MYRIA ANDERSON’S STORY RAISES PAINFUL QUESTIONS AS FAMILY DEMANDS ANSWERS

The family of 2-year-old Myria Nicole Anderson is demanding answers after the Oklahoma toddler suffered devastating injuries and her condition became irreversible.

Two people have now been arrested in connection with the case, while investigators continue examining the circumstances surrounding what happened to the little girl.

Joseph Chlebanowski, 26, was arrested August 15 on allegations of child abuse by injury after Edmond police responded to a report of a 2-year-old child who was not breathing.

According to court documents, emergency responders found Myria without a pulse and not breathing. Life-saving measures were performed, and a pulse was restored while she was being transported to OU Children’s Hospital.

Myria later succumbed to her injuries.

Her mother, Zyriah Walker, was arrested August 25 and also faces a charge of child abuse by injury.

According to an arrest affidavit cited by KFOR, Chlebanowski told investigators he had been caring for Myria and her siblings after Walker left for work that afternoon.

Later, Walker reportedly received a call saying Myria was having difficulty breathing and had experienced a nosebleed. She instructed Chlebanowski to contact emergency services while she also called for help and returned home.

Medical personnel documented marks and bruises on Myria when she arrived at the hospital.

Court documents also referenced earlier medical visits. Three days before the emergency, Myria had reportedly been treated at the same hospital for injuries to her arm and face. Medical records allowed personnel to compare her condition with the later visit.

Another hospital visit occurred on August 9 after Walker reportedly said Myria had fallen from a toilet. A CT scan at that time was reportedly clear.

Six days later, doctors identified a brain bleed and swelling on another CT scan.

Investigators are continuing to examine the timeline and circumstances surrounding those injuries.

Myria’s family, however, says their concerns began long before the final hospitalization.

In social media posts, relatives alleged that they had repeatedly noticed unexplained bruises, marks and other injuries after Myria returned from visits. They say they pH๏τographed some injuries and reported their concerns to the judge involved in the custody proceedings and to the Department of Human Services.

Those claims regarding the previous custody case and agency response have not been independently verified, and the complete history of the proceedings has not been publicly released.

Myria’s stepmother, who described herself as the toddler’s “bonus mom,” said she had helped raise the little girl from infancy and loved her as her own.

“I may not have given birth to Myria, but I loved her like she was my own because SHE WAS MY OWN,” she wrote.

Following Myria’s hospitalization, relatives had asked the public to pray for healing, strength, protection and a miracle.

Now, their prayers have become a demand for answers.

The family wants to know whether earlier concerns were handled appropriately, what authorities knew about Myria’s injuries and whether opportunities existed to protect her.

“Our baby was only 2 years old. She was still a BABY,” the family wrote.

“She had her entire life ahead of her, and she never deserved any of this.”

As the investigation continues, Myria’s loved ones are asking for accountability while remembering a little girl whose life was far too short.

For them, the questions remain.
