๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ”Ž NANCY GUTHRIE SEARCH FACES NEW SCRUTINY AS EARLY INVESTIGATIVE MISSTEPS COME UNDER FIRE

More than six months after Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today host Savannah Guthrie, disappeared from her Arizona home, new questions are being raised about how the investigation was handled during its crucial early hours. ๐Ÿ˜”

A report from The Wall Street Journal alleges that investigators made several potentially costly mistakes shortly after Nancy vanished, including concerns over how evidence at her home was handled.

One particularly troubling allegation involves blood found on Nancyโ€™s front porch. According to the report, investigators initially believed the dried blood was unrelated to her disappearance. Later testing reportedly confirmed that it belonged to Nancy and may be connected to the suspected abduction. ๐Ÿฉธ๐Ÿ

The report also claims that the home was not immediately secured as a crime scene, allowing reporters, livestreamers and delivery workers to access the porch during the early days of the investigation. ๐Ÿšจ

Questions have also been raised about the timing of aerial searches. According to the report, a sheriffโ€™s search-and-rescue aircraft did not begin searching until around 6:30 p.m., several hours after Nancy was reported missing and after daylight had largely faded. โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ”Ž

There were reportedly concerns about some personnel แด€ssigned to lead the investigation as well, including the experience and previous performance of members of the homicide team.

The allegations have intensified scrutiny of the Pima County Sheriffโ€™s Department, especially as Nancy remains missing and no suspect has been publicly identified.

Sheriff Chris Nanos and his department have pushed back against reports based on anonymous or unauthorized sources, warning that unverified information could interfere with the investigation.

Meanwhile, Nancyโ€™s family continues to wait for answers.

Nancy was last seen on January 31, 2026, and authorities believe she was taken from her home against her will. The FBI has been แด€ssisting with the case, which remains active.

For Savannah and the rest of Nancyโ€™s family, the central question has not changed:

Where is Nancy? ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ™

After months of searching, the new allegations have raised fresh concerns about whether crucial opportunities to gather evidence may have been lost in the earliest stages of the case.

Six months later, Nancy is still missing โ€” and her family is still waiting for the answers they desperately need. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
