💔 BABY S: NEWBORN GIRL’S DEATH LEADS TO MURDER CHARGES AS TRIAL SET FOR 2027

A newborn baby girl known publicly only as “Baby S” has become the center of a deeply disturbing criminal investigation in South Yorkshire after her death led to murder charges against four people.

The infant had only just entered the world when her life was tragically cut short. According to prosecutors, police were called after concerns were raised about the safety of a newborn. Officers searched the property and discovered Baby S inside an outbuilding.

Emergency responders attempted to help, but the infant was pronounced ᴅᴇᴀᴅ at the scene. A forensic post-mortem examination later determined that she had died from stab injuries.

During court proceedings, prosecutors alleged that Baby S had suffered multiple injuries. The details presented in court have formed part of the evidence in a case that is now moving toward a major trial.

Prosecutors also allege that after her death, the baby’s body was wrapped in a towel, placed inside a blue bag and concealed on top of a washing machine in an outbuilding.

The allegations have led to murder charges against four defendants.

They are 20-year-old Andrea Skopova, whom prosecutors identify as Baby S’s alleged mother, 19-year-old Peter Horvath Jr., 38-year-old Peter Horvath Sr., and 37-year-old Nina Horvathova.

All four are also accused of causing or allowing the death of a child. In addition, prosecutors allege that they took steps intended to conceal what had happened, leading to further charges concerning the alleged attempt to obstruct or pervert the course of justice.

A fifth person, a 15-year-old girl, has also been charged with an offense involving the investigation. Because she is a minor, she cannot legally be identified.

Authorities initially arrested seven people as part of the investigation. Two women, aged 26 and 37, who had been arrested on suspicion of murder were later released on bail while inquiries continued.

The four people facing murder charges remain in custody.

The case is now progressing toward trial. At a later hearing, a judge scheduled the murder trial to begin on April 12, 2027. The proceedings are expected to last approximately six to seven weeks, reflecting the number and seriousness of the issues expected to be examined.

For prosecutors and investigators, the upcoming trial will focus on evidence and the circumstances surrounding Baby S’s death. For those who have followed the case, however, the story is also about a newborn who never had the opportunity to experience ordinary childhood.

Baby S will never celebrate her first birthday.
