❤️🙏 THREE MONTHS AFTER A DEVASTATING CRASH, LOGAN COMBS IS STILL FIGHTING — AND HIS FAMILY IS CHOOSING HOPE

Three months ago, the Combs family feared their lives had changed forever.
Today, they are learning to celebrate the smallest victories.
Because 19-year-old Logan is still here — and every bit of progress means everything. ❤️

Logan Combs of Daphne, Alabama, suffered a traumatic brain injury and serious spinal injuries when a car struck his motorcycle on May 22.

His mother, Lisa Combs, said Logan sustained injuries to his C5 and C6 cervical vertebrae as well as his T3 through T5 vertebrae. He is now paralyzed from the waist down.

After spending time receiving intensive medical care in Florida, Logan was transferred to Shepherd Center in Atlanta, where he has continued his recovery for several weeks.

The road has been extraordinarily difficult.

But Lisa recently shared a powerful reflection about what the family has experienced since that life-changing morning.

She described May 22 as a moment when her family suddenly became something it had never been before — a family learning how to imagine an entirely different future.

Yet there was one thing they did not lose.

Logan.

“He lived. God allowed us another day,” Lisa wrote.

Three months later, she said the family is choosing to look at the things they have “lost” differently.

They have moved beyond the constant fear for Logan’s life, the intensive-care experience, the medical equipment, countless procedures and the seemingly endless days of uncertainty.

For Lisa, those difficult changes have also revealed unexpected gifts.

The family discovered just how strongly they could show up for one another. ❤️

One daughter left her home in Missouri to help. A son stayed behind to care for the dogs while other family members traveled to Atlanta. Another daughter rearranged her work schedule to spend weeks with Logan.

And Logan’s father continued working while making the long drive to Atlanta every weekend — more than five hours each way.

Through all of it, the family discovered a strength they didn’t know they possessed.

They also found new friendships, a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by people living with disabilities, and an even stronger sense of faith.

Most importantly, Lisa says, they gained the peace of knowing they do not have to control everything about the future.

They simply have to be there for Logan. 🙏

Logan still has a long recovery ahead, and his future remains uncertain. But his family says he continues to show small signs of improvement.

Those small moments have become enormous victories.

Cards and letters have arrived from people around the world, filling Logan’s room with reminders that his story has touched countless lives.

For Lisa, every message represents hope and compᴀssion from people willing to stand beside a family they may never have met.

The Combs family knows the road ahead will not be easy.

But they are no longer measuring their journey only by what has changed.

They are measuring it by what remains.

Logan is here. His family is together. And tomorrow is still theirs to face. ❤️
